Verizon to Offer 300Mbps FIOS Internet Plan
Internet users in the US who demand the fastest speeds will be happy to know that Verizon will soon offer 300Mbps / 65Mbps FIOS internet plan. To put the speeds into perspective, a “two-hour HD video can be downloaded in 2.2 minutes instead of 4.4 minutes. It remains to be known if pricing will be affected. Verizon currently sells 150Mbps for $ 200 a month. Verizon could charge more for the higher speeds, or keep its pricing in-line with current plans. Either way, if you’ve got the need for speed, FIOS is your roadster. You’ll be riding high, while the rest of the country waits on all the “buffering.”
